Being overweight is definitely no fun because my tummy was so big moving around and finding the right clothes to fit me was a huge problem.

After you have done that and certified fine, then we can start with the program.
Firstly, always start with some stretching exercises. These will help to loosen tight muscles to prevent injuries and soreness.
The first day of the program involves taking a long steady walk for at least 20 minutes and end off with more stretching exercises. You are done for day one!
On the second day, after your stretching exercises, do some light weight lifting to improve upper body strength. It can be lifting your chair or any light weights you can find or buy. Just be sure the weights you use is not too heavy for you.
On the third day, go for a brisk walk or jog for at least 10 minutes. This is of course after your stretching exercises and end off with more stretching exercises.
You have done pretty well so far. So, give yourself a well-earned break on the fourth day. But please don’t start piling on the calories with junk food.
On the fifth day, you need to put on your exercise shoes again for a brisk 10-minute walk or jog. And if you are up to it, you can supplement this with a session of squatting exercise. Look for a bench of wall where you can balance yourself and aim to do at least 10 to 20 squats. This will slowly be increased in the following weeks.
On the sixth day, do something you like. For example, you may go swimming or play basketball or even play golf. Don’t be afraid to try something new to make your exercise program a more enjoyable one.
On the final day of the week, try to get someone to get involved in your program. They can be your family or friends. Do stretching exercises and go for your walk or jog together. Then, this is followed by your weight lifting exercises.
If you are able to stick to this simple "exercise to lose weight" program, be patient and consistent, you will definitely see results.
